      As most island countries in the South Pacific, it rains mostly in the summer months of November to April.

  • What are the average tempertures through out the year?

      For most of the Cook Islands the average temperature is about 28'C or 83'F. The winter season in May to September averages about 24'C or 76'F while the hot season from October to April averages approximately 30'C or 86'F.

  • Are there Cylones in the Cook Islands?
      Most islands in the South Pacific can experience cyclones, with most occurring in the hot rainy summer months from October to April.  Although the Cook Islands can experience this weather it is not uncommon to go through a summer season without a cyclone.
